Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs

Center for Hope of the Sierras offers both a partial hospitalization (PHP) and an intensive outpatient (IOP) program as a stand-alone or step-down transition from the residential level of care.

Individualized Experience
The IOP & PHP programs are based on an individualized hierarchy of goals designed to help each patient deal with the fears, triggers, and emotions they might face in life after treatment. Every patient will have a unique experience, specially catered to their individual needs. PHP patients work with the staff to create a number of real-world challenges to be completed on their own, without staff support, like grocery shopping, meal preparation, restaurant outings, and purchasing new clothes. Each experience is fully processed with the support of our staff through journaling assignments, open discussion, and time with their individual therapist, rather than going home to deal with the emotions on their own.

Program Highlights:

  • Treating males & females, ages 14+
  • Highly individualized treatment plans
  • Flexible afternoon & evening schedules
  • DBT-based treatment model
  • Intuitive eating nutrition philosophy
  • Hands-on nutrition & culinary program
  • Restaurant outings, grocery shopping, meal preparation
  • Housing & transportation available
  • Insurance accepted
