Residential Treatment Program
The residential treatment program at Center for Hope of the Sierras offers individuals a comfortable home-like atmosphere ideal for healing and recovery from their eating disorder. We realize that each individual who enters our doors is unique and that no two individuals will have the same path to recovery. Treatment at Center for Hope is highly individualized and specially catered to the needs of each resident.
Each resident receives a variety of individual, group and family therapy all designed to promote self-care, self-respect, and long term recovery.

- Intuitive Eating nutrition philosophy
- 24-hour nursing and staff support
- Three weekly sessions with individual therapist
- One weekly session with the registered dietitian
- Full medical/psychiatric exam upon admission
- Medical/Psychiatric check-ins as needed
- Weekly family therapy
- Daily group therapy
Real-World Approach
Treatment includes a variety of hands-on, real-world experiences designed to help each resident work through their individual triggers and fears and prepare for life after treatment with the support of our compassionate staff. Each week, residents participate in restaurant outings, snack challenges, cooking classes, afternoons at the local coffee shop, and shopping for personal items. Weekend programming also incorporates fun community outings like movie nights, bowling, pottery painting, and community events as chosen by the residents.
