Cindy Engel, LCSW
Cindy Engel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Masters Certified Addiction Therapist. She earned her Master’s degree from California State University Bakersfield and comes to the center with over 25 years working in the mental health field. She is licensed in Montana, California and Nevada.
Cindy’s expertise includes program development, clinical program management, eating disorders treatment , chemical dependency treatment, serious and persistent mental illness treatment, inpatient and intensive outpatient mental health treatment, trauma treatment, and adolescent and teen residential and partial hospitalization. She is passionate about working with a multi -modality approach with each client she works with, and specializes in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization Therapy, Feeling State Addiction Protocol(EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy.
Cindy enjoys scuba-diving, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband, five children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs. She is the recipient of the 2015 Excellence In Supervision Award from the Breining Institute, which is a national award given to recognize exemplary commitment to quality supervision and she has been a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers since 2008.
