Since 2003, Center for Hope of the Sierras has earned a national reputation as a premier treatment provider for individuals who are suffering from eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. Our team has been singular in the pursuit of success, and in order to maintain that success, we must focus on opportunities for growth in Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in the closing of our residential treatment center in Reno.
Currently, Center for Hope operates a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program near Las Vegas, Nevada, with plans of building a new residential treatment center in the near future. Center for Hope will also be collaborating with Seven Hills Hospital in the development of an inpatient eating disorder program. This collaboration will allow Center for Hope to help those who present with medically and psychiatrically complex conditions to receive comprehensive treatment in a successful continuum of care. Our focus remains on the treatment of eating disorders, and specialized programming will be at the center of every aspect of this expansion.
We recognize that this change affects all individuals who are associated with Center for Hope, including our clients, staff members, and referral sources. After being informed of the decision, our leadership team immediately began working on a transition plan, and efforts will be made to maintain transparency throughout this adjustment.
False rumors have been circulating about the way Center for Hope is handling this shift in operations.
